April is here which means my son will be here any week now. I’m so beyond excited for this next chapter. I’m so grateful for my health, and the health of my family. I put together a list of 11 pregnancy must-haves for every trimester, and I’m excited to share them here with you.
I carry this water bottle around with me everywhere I go. With my last pregnancy, my fluid levels got really low, and I almost had to be induced. Thankfully, I was able to correct the issue, and have a healthy natural birth. Because of that experience though, I have been strict on my water consumption this time around. I love this water bottle because you can track your water intake throughout the day. I highly recommend getting something like this, so that you can stay accountable. It’s so easy to go all day without a sip of water when it’s not in your face, not to mention pregnancy brain can have you forgetting things so easily, am I right? You don’t have to guess with this water bottle which is why you’ll love it so much.
I started taking the Foundation prenatal when I was about 15 months postpartum with my daughter. I not only noticed a huge difference in my mood and energy levels, but my milk supply increased as well and I was able to breastfeed my daughter for a total of 18 months. I have been taking them ever since and I absolutely would recommend them to anyone. They are clean, whole-food plant-based, bioavailable, and medical grade.
Included in the foundation prenatal is:

With my last pregnancy, I didn’t sleep well at all. I tossed and turned throughout the night a ton. With this pregnancy, I am sleeping so well. It’s a night and day difference from my first pregnancy, and I feel like this app has a lot to do with it. If you have a hard time falling asleep, or you’re just not sleeping very well, try this app. There are so many options to choose from even on the free plan. If you don’t want to go through all of the sounds, you can try the exact mix I listen to every single night. Here it is. I like simple fan noises, zen/nature, and dreamy vibes. If this sounds like you, you’ll love my mix.
This is a product my doula recommended to me during my last pregnancy (thank you Natasha!) and it works wonders. It’s made from all-natural and organic ingredients, and it smells so good. It’s a little on the oily side, but my skin eats it up. I’m so dry this pregnancy, and this product has been a lifesaver for avoiding stretch-marks.
Mother Nature Tea from High Garden is my go-to drink for getting my body ready for birth. The owner crafted this special blend for her own pregnancy, and drank it almost every single day during her 2nd and 3rd trimesters. I know about High Garden because they used to have a store walking distance from my old house in East Nashville. They had the DREAMIEST store you’ve ever seen, but sadly in 2020, a tornado hit, and destroyed their store. They do everything online now. Supporting their store means a lot to me. I’ve experienced firsthand the magic that High Garden tea house is. If you’ve been there, you know exactly what I’m talking about. I love that they only purchase ethically wildcrafted, organic, safe, and naturally grown herbs, and I also love their attention to earth-conscious packaging. They are truly the best.
I did Hypnobabies training while I was pregnant with my daughter, and loved the entire experience. I feel like it really helped me with breathing exercises, staying calm, and seeing birth in a really powerful and positive light. My training was during Covid so everything was online, but I still feel like I got a lot from it. I loved the meditation tracks, and have used them during this pregnancy as well. Meditation has helped me tremendously during this pregnancy. I feel so much more grounded, excited, and prepared for birth.
Finding a clean, pregnancy-safe makeup brand while you’re pregnant can feel overwhelming, especially if you don’t know where to look. I tried a few clean brands, but ilia has been my favorite so far. I bought the super serum skin tint spf 40, and I’ve used it pretty much my entire pregnancy. If you’re looking for something super lightweight on your skin, without the worry of toxins and chemicals, then give Ilia a try! I also love their mascara and lip moisturizer.
Nuuly is perfect for the earth-conscious mama who wants to be stylish, and have clothes on hand for their growing bump. I love Nuuly because they carry so many popular brands, and you can pick and choose which styles you want to get in the mail every single month. I love supporting clothing brands that care about sustainability, and I know you do as well. Getting Nuuly is such an easy process. You order the clothes online, and then within a few days, they show up on your doorstep in a reusable Nuuly bag. Inside the bag, there’s a prepaid label ready for when you’re ready to mail the clothes back. Nuuly alerts you when you’re ready for your next shipment. It’s that easy!
Jacqueline Piotaz is a luxury plant-based skincare line based out of Switzerland. I learned about Jacqueline Piotaz through the Carillon Miami Wellness resort a couple of weeks before I got pregnant. I bought some of her skincare after I had the most amazing facial at the spa and let me just say WOW you guys, this skincare line is truly next level. She uses stem cell cultivation technology that allows her to use the purest form of the plant when creating her products. Her products are all 100% free of pesticides, fertilizers, environmental pollutants and more, which I know you’ll appreciate. I am currently using the pollution defense line, and I love it so much. It feels like silk on my skin. I can’t recommend Jacqueline Piotaz skincare enough.
I have tried so many different brands when it comes to leggings, and I’m telling you guys these are just the best! They don’t slide down like many other brands do. They are also very flattering and the most comfortable leggings I’ve tried. I love how they keep everything tucked in. My belly feels extremely supported and protected. You can do yoga, pilates, go for walks, you name it…you’ll feel great in these. They are pricey but so worth it. You can shop them here.
There have been so many times during this pregnancy where I didn’t really have an appetite for greens. Being able to throw all of my greens in a juicer and drink fresh green juice has made all of the difference in the world in my energy levels and how I feel overall. It’s also an easy way to incorporate more vitamins and nutrients into your day. To fight nausea early on in my pregnancy, I juiced a little bit of ginger and lemon and it helped with the nausea tremendously. I love NamaWell because they make juicing feel like a breeze, and the clean-up is as easy as it gets.
Okay, there you have it! That’s the list. Thank you so much for reading and if you have any holistic products that you personally love, please share them with us in the comments below.
